Soon Kuih or Bangkuang Kuih
One of my favourite kuih kuih. I sauteed slightly minced chicken breast, chinese mushroom, shredded sour mustard (kiam chai), minced garlic, and season with salt and sugar to taste. I tried to avoid msg whenever I can get away with it. I also tried another version I fried some pounded dried shrimp, minced garlic and spring onion. I prefer the sour mustard Soon Kuih. Chili - I added some lemon juice and sugar to sambal olek.
